Autumn

July 3, 2009:

In a sad turn of events, All Friends Animal Hospital has to report that Autumn lost her brave fight against cancer. She passed away at All Friends on July 3, 2009 surrounded by her friends and caretakers.

December 9, 2008:

Autumn is recovering nicely from her surgery, and many thanks to all that have sent their good thoughts to her. Autumn's biopsy results have come back cancerous, with a diagnosis of a mast cell tumor. She is beginning chemotherapy at All Friends this week. We are hopeful, but the outcome is still uncertain.

November 20, 2008:

All Friends is happy to report that Autumn is recovering from her surgery. The 2 1/2 hour surgery was performed this morning by Dr. Melgey and  Dr. deBlok. The mass removed weighed in at 3.25 lbs, and has been sent out for biopsy to determine if it is cancerous, and we will have an update on those results as soon as we get them. All friends would like to send out our sincerest appreciation for all the generous donations!! We are thrilled to be a part of this amazing experience and have the greatest respect for Ledyard animal control officers Kimlyn and Carrie for the wonderful work they do!! We will continue to update our website with Autumn's progress.
